Registered Massage Therapist
An insight to therapeutic massage and the many benefits it has for you.
My Approach to Massage I have listed the different kinds of massages and therapies available. Very seldom do I use just one style in any session. Depending on your individual needs, I will use the techniques that are the most appropriate to relieve the tension, discomfort or stress for you. The amount of pressure used is determined by how your muscle feel and your level of comfort. There is a fine line between too much and too little pressure. You are welcome to indicate how much pressure you prefer.
If, however, I am not satisfied with the progress of your recovery, I would recommend Cranio Sacral Therapy (CST). When massage will only give you temporary relief, CST can very often bring permanent relief, which is what attracted me to this therapy. It can also profoundly relax you. CST works from the inside out, whereas massage works from the outside in. |

Foot and Hand Reflexology is based on the premise that there are zones and reflex areas in the feet and hands which correspond to all body parts. By applying specific pressure using thumb, finger and hand techniques, reflexology reduces tension, improves circulation and promotes the natural functioning of the related areas of the body. |
